Emmet van Driesche is professioneel lepelsnijder en runt de Pieropan kerstbomenplantage in Massachusetts. Ook publiceert hij het Spoonesaurus Magazine, heeft hij zijn eigen podcast en heeft hij inmiddels meerdere boeken op zijn naam staan. Masters of Sloyd

Masters of Sloyd is een webinarserie waarin makers online via Zoom vertellen over hun ambacht. Masters of Sloyd is ontstaan vanuit mijn eigen belangstelling om meer te weten te komen over oude ambachten en de mensen die ze nu nog beoefenen. Ik vind het mooi om die kennis te helpen verspreiden in de moderne wereld, omdat ik geloof dat deze ambachten de hedendaagse mens, de producten die ze gebruikt en de natuur weer wat dichter bij elkaar kunnen brengen.

Masters of Sloyd is a webinar series in which makers talk about their craft online via Zoom. Masters of Sloyd arose from my own interest in learning more about traditional crafts and the people who still practice them today. I like to help spread that knowledge in the modern world, because I believe that these crafts can bring contemporary people, the products they use and nature closer together.
